There is something right and something wrong about this. The right side is that we as human beings, and especially we women, like to have a certain variety in clothing. It makes life more pleasant and bearable. This is normal. Perhaps it is to fill this psychological need that God changes the “dress” of nature four times a year, in each season. The wrong side is that an unwritten decree was artificially established that to be “in” a woman has to follow the last fashions of Paris, London or Rome. If you don’t want to be disdained in certain ambience, you have to follow the great couturiers, who became in effect the dictators of fashion.
